My Nana's Garden

San Diego was beautiful! It rained a little, but it didn't ruin our fun! I was able to visit with my family, friends, sleep in and relax.
My nana will be 88 this year and she is a "firecracker". Growing up, I always remember her caring for her garden.
This visit, I thought I'd take some pictures to remind me of her.

My Grandfather made my foot imprints when I was little. I love when my kids visit and they measure their feet with mine :) This trip my Nana didn't want me to take her picture, so here are a few from our last family trip to San Diego.

Going Back to Cali

My sweet husband surprised me this Christmas with a ticket to California! We spent Christmas here this year and I really missed my family in San Diego. I get a little mini vacation by myself and my friend Chris is coming with me. I can't wait to show her around! I am really looking forward in spending time with my family, good friends and having some yummy Mexican food :) I will be checking my email and returning phone calls on Tuesday.

Chris and Kira are Married!

Chris and Kira had a beautiful wedding. The excitement that Kira had was contagious. She was so much fun to be around and was glowing :) Chris was excited in his own way. You can tell that they two really enjoy one another and it was a blast to be a part of their day

We made a few stops before the reception. Chris proposed to Kira at the Grand Basin.

It got dark fast, but we still managed to capture some fun shots at Saint Louis University. This is where Chris and Kira first met.

Stephanie and Kevin are having a Baby

And it's a ... Girl! I am so excited to be an "Aunt" to baby Katelyn! My sister in law Stephanie and brother in law Kevin wanted some "fun" maternity pictures and I was glad to help out! Katelyn is due to arrive January 25th, the day I leave for San Diego. I'm hoping that baby Katelyn can wait until I get back. I love doing birth sessions :)

The Nolting Family

The Nolting family are no strangers to my camera...but the newest Nolting is :) I have worked with Russ from Nolting Real Estate before, but this was the first time I met and photographed his son Ian. Ian is absolutely adorable and much loved by his three sisters :) Here are a few of my favorites.

The Aoyagi Family

Our neighbors, the Aoyagi's asked me to do a family session over Christmas break. Seima's mom came to visit from Japan, it was the first time she has been to the States and the first time she met her youngest grandson! It was a windy, cold day, but we still managed to have some fun! Here are some of my favorites :)

The Majeed Family traveled from New York, San Diego and Arizona to all be together. They were all very sweet and I enjoyed being with them. Here are a few of my favorites!

The Snodgrass Family

The Snodgrass is a sweet family that I have had the pleasure in knowing for almost 3 years. Our kiddos go to school together and we worship at the same church! You can say that we cross paths often :) A year ago Kate was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was removed, but sadly has returned. I offered to take their family portraits before Kate's surgery and was glad they accepted. This family really enjoys each another and you can see it clearly in just spending a few moments with them.
