The Snodgrass Family

The Snodgrass is a sweet family that I have had the pleasure in knowing for almost 3 years. Our kiddos go to school together and we worship at the same church! You can say that we cross paths often :) A year ago Kate was diagnosed with a brain tumor. It was removed, but sadly has returned. I offered to take their family portraits before Kate's surgery and was glad they accepted. This family really enjoys each another and you can see it clearly in just spending a few moments with them.
You can read more about Kate's Story here. Here are a few of my favorites...and be sure the watch their slideshow :)

Ms. Jen

My friend Jen asked me to take some head shots of her and I was glad too! Snow was on the ground and it made the perfect background! Jen is graduating this May from Covenant Seminary and I am really going to miss hanging out her. She is a beautiful person inside and out :)

The Barber Family

It was a windy day at Longview Farms, but I had a great time with the Barber family. Scott and Leesa have two beautiful little girls and one more expected next year. Here are a few of my favorites :)

The wind was blowing. It was great!

I love this one of Scott and his girls. I love the tenderness of the girls with their dad! Now, when it was time for the girls and their mama, the little one had her own idea :) It was very funny.

The Harre Family

It was cooler day, but not too cold for the Harre Family! We had a great time exploring Long View Farms. Linda is a teacher of my youngest son's class. I had a great time getting to know her and her family better. Here are a few of my favorites!

I received this sweet note from Linda after she viewed her slide show!
"Hi Kelly, thanks so much...we all watched the slide show for the first time together and Peter got choked up at the end...he said, and I quote, "aside from marrying me, this was the best decision you've ever made"...:o)....Wow! Thanks so much Linda for your note...I really appreciate it!

Introducing Ruthie Helen

The Garcia family are good friends of ours, so when they asked me to do the birth story of their new baby girl, I was excited. I went over the night before Amanda's scheduled C-section and took just a few fun ones of them. The next day I went to the hospital. Ruthie is such a beautiful baby. I love babies, so I really enjoy newborn sessions :) A few weeks after the session, I did some individual and family portraits. Here are a few of my favorites.
