Margaret Mae : Baptism

Margaret Mae is almost a year! Wow, time flies :) Maggie has the sweetest personality. She is always smiling, laughing and now crawling everywhere! Maggie's beautiful dress was made especially for her by her aunt in Mississippi. My family and I attended Maggie's baptism, but I took these portraits a few days later. Here are some of my favorites!

St. Baldrick's : Shaving the Way to Conquer Kids' Cancer

St. Baldrick's is a foundation that raises awareness and funds to cure kids' cancer by supporting cancer research and fellowships. I was asked to photograph the event here in Saint Louis. The event was held at Helen Fitzgerald's and hosted by Kevin Berghoff from Y98. Many of the participates have family and friends who have struggled with cancer and some have lost their battle to cancer. There were lots of smiles, laughter and tears. By the end of the night St. Baldrick's raised $163, 057.00!!!

Thank you to all the volunteers which made St. Baldrick's such a success! Here is a slideshow from the night!

Lauren and Kory : Married

Lauren and Kory had a beautiful wedding at the Old Court House in Downtown, Saint Louis. The day was beautiful and the sky was the bluest I have ever seen it since I have been here. The reception was at Windows on Washington and everything was absolutely perfect! Here are some on my favorites!

Special thanks to Alisha Clark for having me second with her! Here she is in the foreground :)

The bouquet toss is always fun to watch.

You could see the sweet bond that Lauren had with her grandmother. This is one of my favorites from the night.

It's another Snow Day!

Wow, the weather in Saint Louis is crazy! This past weekend, it was 70 degrees, warm and sunny and today the complete opposite! It has been snowing since this morning and it is about 20 degrees outside. My kiddos were excited and could not wait to get out in the snow and my husband thought it would be fun to drive to drive in it (if you know him, this would not surprise you). Here are a few from our "Snow Day".

The Garcia Family

The Garcia family extended their family and was in need of a new family portrait. Yesterday, we met at Covenant Seminary and I was able to share some time with them and capture some tender moments.

Ruthie has gotten so big since our last session .

Rebecca is a close friend of the Garcia's and is encouraging them in their transition.

Ronnie and Amanda are a inspiration in seeing God's provision for our lives. The Garcia's graduate this year from Covenant Seminary and we are really going to miss them!
