San Diego Mini Session: Balboa Park

The second day of session was at Balboa Park. It was a beautiful morning in San Diego, I got there early to walk around and soak it all in :)

The Horpayak family are friends of ours from our San Diego church. It was so great to visit with them. Erin once tried to teach me to how to cook Thai food, which she is fabulous at. Kitya and Erin's little girls are absolutely beautiful, their personalities are so much fun...I had a wonderful time with them all!

The Frost family met me again because their kiddos fell into the ocean rather quickly at our first session, so we went for round 2. Which was great for me because it meant I visit with them again :)

I am looking forward in seeing you all again soon!

San Diego Mini Session: La Jolla

During my San Diego visit I was able to schedule some portrait sessions! I had so much fun shooting on the beach, it's been a while :)

First up was the Frost Family. Valerie and I have been friends for over 18 years. She went to high school with my hubby and we joke about how they were friends and now how we are closer! Valerie and Greg has two precious little kiddos. These twins were prayed for and such miracles. This is the first time that I have been able to meet them. They are adorable!

The Jung family our dear friends of ours from Covenant Seminary. They are now living in California. It was such a treat for me to be able to visit with them and see their sweet family.

I have not seen the Norine family since their kiddos were the age of my kiddos. I couldn't believe how grown up they both were. They are such a sweet family and it was so fun to catch up with them!

Thank you all for letting me share time with your family!

Christmas Traditions

Everyone year our family makes tamales for Christmas dinner. When I lived in San Diego, I would help my Nana each year to make them. Now that I live in STL, it is not as easy for me to help. This year I was able to be there :) Making tamales takes quite a bit of time, but I love this time, I love sharing these moments with my grandmother talking, sharing memories and listening to cumbias. Plus the hard work is so worth it, my grandmother makes the best tamales! I am so glad I was able to be there this year!

Do you have a Christmas tradition? Post a comment and one will be randomly chosen on MONDAY for a $15 Itunes Gift Card!
