Snow Day

Yesterday was a snow day, but today was the real 'Snow Day'. I'm not sure how much snow fell last night, but it must of been close to 6 inches. Today we all ventured out and had a great time sledding. Here's one of my kiddos getting ready for their adventure!

This picture was taken with my Canon PowerShot SD990, I love it. I can tuck into my pocket for days like this, one of my favorite Christmas gifts.

Julie & Jimmy : Married

Julie and Jimmy had a beautiful wedding! Julie is a long time friend of mine, her sister Elissa and I are BFF's :) When I heard Julie was getting married, I was so excited for her and secretly hoped she ask me to photograph her wedding. Julie did ask me and I (along with a few others) could not wait for this day to arrive. Julie is such an amazing woman and has been such an encouragement over the years. Knowing that she has found a wonderful man as Jimmy, just warms my heart. Jimmy and Julie together are so perfect and being a part of their day was amazing.

Villa Antonia is a hidden paradise in Austin, Texas. It reminded me of a place you would visit in Greece. It was absoultely amazing.

Jimmy was all 'smiles' just like Julie.

Everyone in the chapel had tears in their eyes, especially if they glanced up at Jimmy.

Love it!

The wind had perfect timing and we had a great time.

Julie and Jimmy, it was a blessing for me to share your wedding day with both. You are amazing people and it's obvious how well loved you are by your family and friends. I hope to see you both again soon!

Amy & David : Married

Amy and David are married! They had a beautiful candle lit wedding at the Concord Trinity United Methodist church and a lovely reception at Orlando Gardens. Amy and David are so sweet together. When I first met them at their engagement session, I knew that these two were going to be so much fun on their wedding day. They were always smiling and snuggling, they are simply perfect together!

David and Amy, thank you for letting me share your wedding day with you! You two are perfect together, I was blessed to be a part of your day.

Special thanks to Jen Henneberry from Catch Light Park for sharing her talent! Jimmy Hussey kept the party going, the dance floor was full the entire night!

Cara & Casey : Engaged

Cara and Casey are getting married! They are from North Dakota, but fell in love with the Missouri Botanical Gardens and are now getting married there in August. I was really excited when Casey called and said they were coming into town and wanted to do an engagement session after Christmas. We met at the Jewell Box and had a great time.

The Vandervelde Family

The Vandervelde family had a wonderful gathering this Christmas! The day after Christmas was beautiful in Saint Louis, perfect for portraits. I have taken pictures for Kim and her family before, but this was the first time I had time with the whole family. I love the closeness that this family shares. Here are just a few of my favorites.

Caroline : 9 months

Caroline is 9 months old. I love watching my client's grow. Caroline is always full of smiles and giggles. Here are few of my favorites.

Happy New Years! I took some time off to spend with my kiddos during their Christmas vacation, so I'm a little behind on blog posts.
